Police and First Responder Whistleblowing

A significant part of the practice is dedicated to fire and police who protect the community from harm. Our community first responders deserve the right to speak honestly and consistent with their First Amendment rights, without having to suffer in a workplace that involves intimidation, reprisal, and retaliation.

We will also stand up for those who honestly and conscientiously serve. We are proud of our success handling constitutional claims brought by police and first responders against unconstitutional actions of local and state government officials. Many frequently cited decisions involving the whistleblower rights of law enforcement have been cases successfully prosecuted by Howard B. Hoffman. We take great pride in developing the law and pursuing justice for whistleblowers.

If you who are considering “going public,” or if you have gone public and are suffering repercussions, please contact us to determine whether we can assist you.
